Collagen Intensive

These proteins are made up of amino acids linked together in different lengths. Depending on the number of amino acids per molecule, they are classified differently:

Proteins: more than 100 amino acids

Polypeptides: more than 10 amino acids

Oligopeptides: fewer than 10 amino acids

Tripeptides: 3 amino acids

Dipeptides: 2 amino acids

This means that a tripeptide consists of exactly three amino acids linked together.

Tilapia. The fish are kept in aquaculture in Hainan, and these processes are certified under both FOS (Friend of the Sea) and BAP (Best Aquaculture Practices).

Collagen Original is made from 100% pure bovine collagen hydrolysate, with no other additives. Collagen Intensive, on the other hand, additionally contains vitamin C, zinc and biotin and is derived from fish collagen hydrolysate.

Another difference lies in molecule size and dosage:

Collagen Original has a molecule size of 2000–4000 Da, allowing the body to absorb it over a longer period. The daily intake is 15 g, and overdosing is not possible. The intestine releases the collagen building blocks into the blood gradually.

Collagen Intensive has an even smaller molecule size of just 500 Da. This allows the body to absorb the 2.5 g daily dose very quickly. Because it can enter the blood in high concentration, the recommended amount should not be exceeded in order to avoid overdosing.

There are also differences in use:

Collagen Original is especially suitable for coffee, smoothies, shakes, tea or juices.

Collagen Intensive can also simply be taken in 300–400 ml of water.

The main difference lies in the collagen source:

Collagen Plus contains bovine collagen hydrolysate. Collagen Intensive, on the other hand, contains fish collagen hydrolysate. Both products contain vitamin C, zinc and biotin – in the same amounts.

Collagen Intensive can also simply be taken in water.

Stir the contents of one stick (2.5 g) into your favourite drink or food and take one portion per day. Alternatively, you can simply dissolve Collagen Intensive in 400 ml of water and enjoy.

Like Collagen Plus, Collagen Intensive should not be used in boiling hot drinks (> 80°C).

You can dissolve Collagen Intensive in all cold and warm drinks – including water and, of course, your beloved Glow Coffee.

Yes, you can easily combine Collagen Intensive with the collagen capsules. We even recommend it, as the hyaluronic acid and pomegranate peel extract in the capsules perfectly complement Collagen Intensive.

Yes, Collagen Intensive was developed so that you can easily combine it with Collagen Original, Collagen Plus or Collagen Marine. However, we recommend spacing out the intake – for example, Collagen Original in the morning and Collagen Intensive in the afternoon.

Collagen Intensive can be a valuable addition to your daily collagen routine. However, if you combine it with Collagen Plus, you should skip the collagen capsules that day, as the vitamin C dose would otherwise be too high.

💡 Recommendation: Combine a maximum of two collagen products per day (Collagen Intensive, Collagen Plus or collagen capsules).

You can easily support your vitamin C levels with Collagen Plus or the collagen capsules.

Yes, you can support your zinc and biotin levels by combining with Collagen Plus. However, make sure your daily zinc intake does not exceed 5 mg.

We developed Collagen Intensive in sticks because the daily dose is only 2.5 g. This small amount is difficult to measure accurately with a measuring spoon, so we opted for the practical stick format.
